How to Use Nicotine Pouches

Five simple steps for first-time users. Where the pouch goes, how long to leave it in, and what to avoid.

The 5 steps

01
Pick the right strength

Start at 3 to 6 mg per pouch if you're new. Stronger pouches will cause dizziness and nausea for first-timers.

02
Open the can correctly

Flip the can upside down before opening so nicotine settles evenly. Twist off the lid. Most lids have a compartment for used pouches.

03
Place under your upper lip

Lift your upper lip, slide the pouch sideways between lip and gum, position above the front teeth or slightly to one side. Not the lower lip.

04
Leave it in, do not chew

A tingling sensation in the first minute is normal. Don't chew, suck, or constantly reposition.

05
Remove after 20 to 60 minutes

Most pouches are designed for a 30 to 45 minute session. Slide it out, dispose in the lid compartment or a bin. Never flush.

Common mistakes: using on an empty stomach, keeping a pouch in too long, back-to-back pouches, and starting at 17mg+ as your first ever pouch. The full guide covers each in detail.

Note: This is general guidance only, not medical advice. Nicotine is a highly addictive substance. Consult a doctor before starting nicotine use, particularly if you have a heart condition, are pregnant, or are breastfeeding.

All products mentioned are stocked at Nicohub, Indonesia's first legal approved importer of nicotine pouches from Sweden. Authentic source, verified strength, nationwide DHL delivery from Jakarta.
